MALARIA CAMPAIGN

Shrove Pancake Supper - March 4, 2014 was Shrove Tuesday—the day before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday.   Thanks to all who donated food and prepared food for the pancake supper.  It was a great turnout and wonderful celebration of good food and fellowship with the joy of serving together.  $330.00 was given for the purchase of items not collected (Baskets of Promise) and to pay for postage to mail the baskets.

SHROVE PANCAKE SUPPER (FEBRUARY 12, 2013) – Thanks to all who donated food and prepared food for the Pancake Supper—bacon fryers, pancake flippers and runners, dish washers and table wipers.  It was a wonderful celebration of good food and fellowship with the joy of serving together.  $232.12 dollars was given for the eradication of Malaria.
 

World Malaria Day is April 25, 2013. We turned this day into a special week – focusing on the work of the ELCA Malaria Campaign. You and your congregation were invited to join ELCA members across this church in observing World Malaria Day through the ELCA Malaria Campaign on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

 

Tastefully Simple Party (MAY 4, 2013) - Pam Arndt booked a party for Saturday, May 4th to help stop malaria in its track.
